Tekemu.com, Supremo Maths KS1 / Supremo Math / Supremo Maths and Number Swipe applications are wholly owned and managed by Tekemu Limited.

1. Introduction

Please review these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) prior to using any products or services provided by Tekemu Limited (“Tekemu”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using any product or service provided by Tekemu Limited you agree to the Terms set out in this document.

These Terms incorporate and refer to our Privacy Policy, which should also be reviewed prior to using any product or service provided by Tekemu Limited.

Tekemu Limited develops and publishes applications including:

• Supremo Maths KS1 / Supremo Math / Supremo Maths (educational applications)
• Number Swipe (puzzle game application)
• Tekemu.com (website)

These products and services are collectively referred to as the “Service”.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use any application, website, or service provided by Tekemu Limited.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing or using any App or Service provided by Tekemu Limited, you agree to abide by these Terms and any future amendments.

These Terms may be updated, changed or amended from time to time. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the App or Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

All users must also agree to our Privacy Policy. By using the App or Service you consent to our handling of information in accordance with that policy.

If you access our Services through a third-party platform (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play), you may also be required to comply with the policies of those platforms.

Tekemu Limited does not accept responsibility for interference with or damage to your device resulting from the use of the App or Service.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

Our applications are designed for a general audience.

Some applications, such as Supremo Maths, are educational applications often used by children. Use by children should be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Other applications, such as Number Swipe, are general-audience puzzle games intended for users of all ages.

If you are under the age of 18 you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App or Service.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the use of the Services by minors.

3.2 System Requirements

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that their device and operating system meet the minimum requirements necessary to run the App.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Account Creation

Some services or features may require account creation.

If you create an account you are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• all activities conducted under your account
• ensuring that information provided during registration is accurate and current

You must notify us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring and supervising their child’s use of the App.

• Engage in behaviour that may harm, harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Tekemu Limited staff.

By using our Apps or Services you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All content within the App or Services, including but not limited to:

• software
• graphics
• text
• logos
• icons
• audio
• visual assets
• game mechanics
• educational materials

is the property of Tekemu Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, publish, adapt, modify or commercially exploit any part of the App or Services without written permission from Tekemu Limited.

7.2 User Generated Content

If any Service allows users to submit or create content, you grant Tekemu Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

7.3 Protection of Game Mechanics and Software

The structure, organisation, gameplay systems, level designs, mechanics, scoring systems, progression systems, and user interface elements of the App and Services are proprietary to Tekemu Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not:

• copy or reproduce the gameplay mechanics, game systems, level structures, scoring systems, or user interface for the purpose of creating competing products;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where permitted by applicable law;
• create derivative works based substantially on the design, mechanics, structure, or gameplay systems of the App;
• use automated systems, bots, scripts, or software designed to interact with or exploit the App.

Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of the App, its mechanics, or its content may result in legal action.

7.4 Gameplay Recording and Streaming

Tekemu Limited permits users to record, stream, and share gameplay footage of the App through video platforms, streaming services, or social media for non-commercial or standard platform monetisation purposes (for example YouTube, Twitch, or similar services).

This permission is granted provided that:

• the content does not misrepresent the App or Tekemu Limited;
• the gameplay footage is not used to redistribute or replicate the App or its assets;
• the content does not include the unauthorised distribution of game files, assets, or source code.

Tekemu Limited reserves the right to request removal of content that infringes intellectual property rights, misrepresents the App, or violates applicable laws.

7.5 Level Designs and Puzzle Data

The puzzles, level structures, mathematical challenges, scoring systems, progression systems, and related gameplay data contained within the App are proprietary intellectual property of Tekemu Limited.

Users may not:

• extract, copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute level designs, puzzles, challenge structures, or related gameplay data from the App;
• create databases or collections of puzzles derived from the App;
• use automated tools, scripts, or software to access or extract gameplay data from the App;
• reproduce or commercially distribute puzzle content derived from the App.

Any unauthorised extraction, reproduction, or redistribution of puzzle content may result in legal action.

8. In-App Purchases and Payments

Some features within our Apps may be available through in-app purchases.

Payments are processed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Tekemu Limited does not process or store payment details.

All purchases, refunds, and billing disputes are subject to the terms and policies of the relevant platform provider.

Certain purchases may provide additional features or benefits within the App (for example, premium gameplay features).

All purchases are non-transferable and may not be resold.

Purchase Usage

Use of purchased content, premium features, or digital goods within the App constitutes use of the product. Refund eligibility is determined solely by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play).

9. Data Usage

Use of the App may require internet access depending on device and platform features.

Any charges incurred for internet usage are the responsibility of the user.

9.1 Local Data Storage

Gameplay progress, scores, settings, and other game data may be stored locally on the user’s device.

Tekemu Limited is not responsible for the loss of locally stored data resulting from device replacement, operating system updates, device resets, or deletion of the App.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their own devices and data.

10. Third-Party Links

The App or website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Tekemu Limited does not control and is not responsible for the content or policies of third-party websites.

Users should review the policies of those websites before interacting with them.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Tekemu Limited does not guarantee that the App will be:

• uninterrupted
• error-free
• secure
• free from harmful components

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant the completeness or reliability of content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tekemu Limited and its directors, employees, affiliates and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of the App or Service.

This includes but is not limited to:

• data loss
• device malfunction
• unauthorized access
• third-party actions.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tekemu Limited, its directors, employees and affiliates from any claims, damages or losses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App or Services.

14. Termination

Tekemu Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App or Services at any time if these Terms are violated.

We may also discontinue or modify the App or Services at any time without prior notice.

If services are discontinued you may lose access to certain features or data.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
